You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
Service, Cancellations and Refund Policy
This agreement for Service is intended as a professional contract between the tutor and tutee and requires a minimum commitment equivalent to the total fee for ten (10) hours of Service. While the terms are primarily governed by this agreement, both parties retain their statutory rights under the laws of England and Wales. By making a payment for the tutoring service, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this professional contract.
Payment for the Service is made directly to the tutor. The duration of the Service is valid for a maximum of one (1) year from the date the Service is requested. The Service remains ongoing until all agreed hours are completed, with the tutor remaining available to provide support throughout this period. Bookings cancelled or requested to be postponed by the tutee less than 48 hours before a session is due to commence will incur a charge of 100% of the full fee, meaning fewer hours of tuition time will remain under the Service. If a tutee cancels a session more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, no hours will be deducted from the Service. However, the tutor is entitled to exercise discretion on a case-by-case basis and can accept to reschedule the session without the tutee incurring a cancellation fee.
A tutee will be entitled to a refund if we determine that the following refund requirement is met:
• Your tutor fails to attend the scheduled session and does not reschedule it within 10 days, and you request the refund within 10 days from the date of the missed session. In such a case, only the remaining unused hours of the Service is eligible for a refund; any hours already used are non-refundable.
• If the tutee is dissatisfied with the quality of the service provided, they must submit a written explanation of the reasons for their dissatisfaction within 10 days of the session. If the owner of the Site is unable to find an alternative tutor, a refund may be issued. In such case, the refund will be on a pro-rata basis for the remaining months of the Service; any months already used are non-refundable.
Any disputes between the tutor and the tutee will be addressed by the owner of this Site, and the decision of the owner of this Site shall be final. The refund process may take up to 30 calendar days. Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction, minus any applicable transaction and administration fees. No refunds are provided under any other circumstances, as the tutor commits to be available for the Service regardless of whether the tutee books, schedules or attends any sessions.
Your Acceptance of These Terms
By using this Site, and paying for our Service you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site and do not pay for our Service. Your continued use of the Site and the Service following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
